Due to the severity of the incident, the was called in to assist the Darien Police Department in piecing together the exact circumstances of the accident. As of the initial police report, no charges had been filed against the driver .
On Sunday, August 20, 2017, at approximately 5:00 a.m., the Darien Police Department responded to an emergency call on North Frontage Road, just west of Bailey Road.
