The "exclusive" language pack essentially acts as a bridge for modern-day players to experience this lore-heavy narrative in their own native languages, even if the characters themselves are technically meant to be speaking a "default" tongue.
While "rune exclusive" refers to a scene release, the official remaster includes its own set of legitimate exclusive content. All pre-order and special edition bonuses from the original game have been bundled into the remaster.
